Storyline:
The second
season starts about a year after Domyouji leaves to go
to school in New York. Makino has not spoken to
Domyouji in a year. He does not answer her phone
calls or call her. After winning a ticket to New
York Makino goes to see Domyouji again, but he is a
completely different person. Makino returns to
Japan, hurt and confused.
Soon
Domyouji returns to Japan for his birthday celebration
where his mother announces his engagement to the
daughter of a big company that she hopes to do
business with. Surprisingly Domyouji accepts the
engagement at his mother's insistence.
Makino is
crushed, but by coincidence soon starts to spend time
with Domyouji's new fiancé, Shigeru, who is quickly
falling in love with Domyouji, unaware of the past
between him and Makino.
As
Makino's feelings are confused, twisted and hurt, her
savior Rui starts to fall in love with her; confessing
to Domyouji that he will not back down.
But, will
Domyouji's denied feelings for Makino return?
Can their love endure another round with Domyouji's
mother?

Just like
the first one, I was totally addicted to Season 2 of
Hana Yori Dango. Congratulations to the writer
of this drama. I was hooked. Watched all
11 episodes in one day, and no, I don't regret wasting
a day on it. I was emotionally drawn into this
one as well, which happened to be a little bit more
dramatic than the first one. The characters were
still great. I am so impressed with Matsumoto
Jun's acting. There is something mesmerizing
about him and Oguri Shun as well. Even if the
drama sucked, which it totally didn't, you get
addicted to watching these two act. Cheers to
Hana Yori Dango Returns!
